Rolls Royce Builds One-Off Phantom Coupe Inspired by Goodwood

The company’s Dubai Brand Manager, Mohammed EL-Arishy, says that he was sitting in the Goodwood Hotel next to the Rolls-Royce headquarters and looking at the classic racing images on the walls. The vintage imagery inspired him to meet with Bespoke Rolls-Royce, the company’s customization team, and commission the new Chicane Phantom CoupéRolls-Royce Chicane Phant...United Kingdom, 2012 > present.

“I wanted to create a motor car that captures the unique atmosphere and history of the Goodwood Motor Circuit.

“The experience of working with Rolls-Royce’s world-class designers to create the beautifully executed Chicane Phantom Coupé was exhilarating,” said EL-Arishy

The Chicane Phantom Coupé combines the modern looks of the latest variant of the PhantomRolls-Royce Phantom Gen.2United Kingdom, 2012 > present12 versions

with carbon fiber finishes and dark colors. The exterior is painted Gunmetal gray, except for the hood and windshield surround, which are matte black.

The result, the one-of-a-kind Chicane Phantom Coupé incorporates design cues and materials that evoke Goodwood’s rich motor sport history. It rides on 10-spoke Gunmetal wheels.

The interior is covered in red leather and had a checkered flag design stitched into the seats. There is a metal plaque with the car’s name and a track map of Goodwood in the glove compartment.

The car will be sold in the Middle East.
