powered by a 1.2 TDI CR DPF engine with 74hp. The car was built at Skoda's main Mladá Boleslav factory. It will be delivered to a customer in Germany.

and had made about 1.2 million second generation cars so far. Fabia sales were up 16% last year with Skoda selling about 267,000 of them. The model is 25% of Skoda's global sales.

The Fabia was introduced in 1999 with an estate version coming in 2000. It shared the platform with the Seat IbizaSeat IbizaSpain, 1984 > present5 series

. The second generation came in 2007, and it was introduced to China in 2009. Like the previous generation, it shares a platform with the Ibiza and Polo. Skoda also produces a version of the Fabia for the S2000 rally class. 

Skoda builds the Fabia in the Czech Republic, China, Russia and India and sells the car in about 108 markets.
