Land Rover Range Rover Evoque (United Kingdom, 2011-present)

The Range Rover Evoque made its first global public appearance at the 2010 Paris Motor Show. The smaller and greener compact SUV from Land Rover kicks-off in the summer of 2011.

Based on the Land Rover LRX concept car, the Evoque is a more compact vehicle and the lightest and most fuel-efficient Range Rover. The car delivers CO2 emissions of 130 g/km and fuel economy of 58 mpg in the combined cycle.

The use of lightweight construction techniques, the addition of a front-wheel drive variant as well as a range of petrol and diesel engines which come with direct injection and stop-start contributed to enhance efficiency. The Evoque also features low CO2 systems such as Electric Power-Assisted Steering (EPAS) and is built to maximise end of life recyclability.
