for better high-speed cruising.

Musk says that it is sending an engineering team to Germany to create a tuning package for the Model S that would give it improved high-speed stability. The package will be offered as a free upgrade for any buyer that desires it.

Tesla has begun building its first six Supercharger EV charging locations in Germany and plan to have a network of 40-50 locations by the end of 2014. Including Tesla dealers, the company wants every Tesla owner in Germany within 100km of a quick charging location

Also during the address, Musk gave his opinion on hydrogen fuel cells.

"Oh god, a fuel cell is so BS. Hydrogen is quite a dangerous gas. You know, it's suitable for the upper stage of rockets, but not for cars,” said Musk.

He thinks that batteries are the future because at the moment they have better power density in terms of mass and volume.
