Bentley has revealed the facelifted version of the Continental GT and Bentley Flying Spur at the Geneva Motor Show. The main updates were centered on powertrain, technology and interior comfort.

Bentley Continental GT facelift

The main updates were made on the twin-turbo 6.0-litre W12 that gets torque and power and now delivers 590cv and 720Nm. However Bentley engineers also managed to improve the model's fuel economy and efficiency. Emissions are rated at 329g/km (from 338g/km) and combined fuel economy at 11.8l/100km.

In terms of design the Continental GT received some updates in order to “sharpen its on-road presence”. Changes on the front-end include a new bumper design, smaller radiator shell and bright chrome badges identifying the engine type. At the rear the new Continental GT gets a more sculpted bootlid and a reshaped and widened bumper. New 20in and 21in wheel designs and three new paint colours are also available.

In order to differentiate them from the more standard Continental versions, the high-performance  V8 S and GT Speed models get a new rear diffuser design.

According to Bentley the interior updates on the Continental GT include an optional more ergonomic and  sports-orientated steering wheel and larger gearshift paddles. The model gets more chrome detailing, new dials and graphics and a revised surround for the centre console.

Bentley Flying Spur updates

The Bentley Continental Flying Spur’s W12 continues to deliver 625hp and 800Nm of torque, but thanks to the addition of a variable displacement system, the engineers managed to lower CO2 emissions to 333g/km (from 343g/km).

Further updates on the Flying Spur include new 20in and 21in wheel designs, new interior finish options, an updated cabin with more modern graphics and an updated steering wheel design and a wi-fi hotspot system as standard.
