All three new Q models will combine sportiness and luxury. Audi is pushing for SUVs to become even more accepted in the premium segment and aims to eventually control the segment. Analysts predict that sales of luxury SUVs will increase by 36% by 2018.
The first step for these new cars will be Audi's new factory in Mexico. The new factory will initially build the next generation Q5, but the Q6 will start production soon afterward.

Audi has clawed its way into the second place in worldwide sales for global luxury brands. Below it, it has a hungry Mercedes that wants to re-take its position as global leader of luxury cars.
