sales were up 0.6% to 30,562. BMW Motorrad sales were up 7% to 9.215 motorcycles, and Husqvarna Motorcycle sales were down 7% to 1,255 motorcycles.

sales are down 4.7% for the year to 2,326 cars. BMW Group does not report Rolls-Royce monthly sales.
The BMW brand has sold 1,109,962 cars this year, up 8.6%. Mini has sold 223,214 vehicles this year, up 7.2%.
The US, China and Germany are BMW's strongest markets. Deliveries were up 40% in Asia to 45,781 cars and 29,631 of those were from China. In North America, deliveries were up 3.9% to 34,050 cars.
“We made solid gains in many of our markets last month and were once again able to achieve record sales in September, despite the difficult environment in some European countries. Our models continue to perform well and we expect to see further healthy growth in worldwide sales in the fourth quarter. We are well on course to achieving a new sales record for the whole year,” said Ian Robertson, BMW Group head of sales and marketing.
