The Allard Motor Company was founded in 1946 by Sydney Herbert Allard and produced automobiles up to 1966. The first Allard automobile was the CLK5, a Ford Model 48 engine combined with a GP Bugatti Type 51 body, constructed in 18 days. Allard cars were usually big engined, typically V8’s, in a small sports body.
