Aptera Motors (formerly Accelerated Composites) was founded by Steven P. Fambro and Chris L. Anthony in Carlsbad, California, USA, in 2005, to produce high quality commute vehicles. In 2006 the Company started the development of an aerodynamic two-seater, three-wheeled vehicle in two versions: electric and hybrid. The Aptera (meaning wingless in Greek) will be equipped with state of the art technology and its design, combined with its weight, turn it into one of the most economics cars in the world.
