The new Audi concept is equipped with a plug-in hybrid system, consisting in a front turbo 2.0-liter TFSI petrol engine with 292hp and 380Nm of torque combined with an integrated 53hp (40 kW) electric engine with 220Nm of torque. There is still another electric motor installed on the rear axle with 114hp (85kW) and 270Nm of torque. The three engines combined make up a total power of 408hp and 650Nm of torque.
In terms of performance the Audi TT offroad can accelerate from 0 to 100km/h in 5.2 seconds and reach a limited top speed of 250km/h. Still, the vehicle has an average fuel consumption of 1.9l/100km with CO2 emissions of 45g/km. In addition, the concept also has a range of 50km in electric mode, with hybrid autonomy rising up to 880km.
The 12kWh ion-lithium battery can be charged via Audi's wireless charging system. According to the German brand, this system needs about the same time to fully charge the battery as if it was plugged to a socket.

In terms of design the vehicle is heavily inspired on the Allroad Shooting Brake unveiled at the Detroit Motor Show. The TT offroad gets Audi's new "Singleframe" grille and the new Matrix LED headlights. The design is completed by 21-inch rims. Inside the concept is identical to the third generation TT.
