In 2014 Audi unveiled the updated RS7.

In terms of design, the RS7 underwent minor changes in the front. The single-frame grille was also redesigned.

The RS7 received LED headlights as standard with a new design. The headlights got darkened graphics to give the vehicle a greater differentiation. The rear LED headlights were also updated and the exterior design was complete with redesigned 20 inch rims.

Inside Audi made changes in the instrument panel, the paddles and the air outlet controls. Finally the optional MMI infotainment system received an updated Nvidia graphics processor for faster operation.

The updated version of the RS7 continues to be powered by the same V8 petrol engine of 4.0 liters with 560hp and 700Nm of torque. The engine is combined with an eight-speed automatic transmission and the quattro all wheel drive system.

According to Audi, the RS7 Sportback reaches 100km/h in 3.9 seconds and a limited top speed of 250km/h. However, this speed can be increased to 280 or 305km/h with the optional "Dynamic" package.

Thanks to the cylinder deactivation technology, which deactivates four of the eight engine cylinders engine in light acceleration situations, Audi managed to reduce average consumption and CO2 emissions to 9.5 l/100km and 221g/km, respectively.
