about this car

Volkswagen’s Beetle was largely adored by the general public, and as such, only slight changes were made to the 1967 models. A larger 1,493-cubic cubic, flat-four engine that could put out 53 horsepower was introduced, as were dual-circuit brakes, backup lights, locking door buttons, and a 12-volt electrical system, which replaced the old 6-volt system. Seven colors were made available for the hardtop “sedan,” and all had the option of either a cloth or leatherette interior.
