The Concept 4 Series is inspired by the F30 3 Series, it has a pointier nose, swooping roof and a more rounded rear. The nose is low with a small grill and squinting headlights. The exterior is accented with aluminum trim.

The concept rides lower than a current 3 Series with a slightly wider track to improve stability and handling. The wheelbase is 50mm than the previous 3 Series coupe while track is 45mm wider in front and 80mm wider in the rear. Overall, the car is 44mm wider, and the roof sits 16mm lower. In a sporty touch, the rear fenders are the widest portions of the concept.

For the concept, BMW Individual outfitted the interior with incredibly high quality leather and wood covering the inside.
