The C63 AMG Coupé is powered by AMG’s M156 engine, a 6.2 litre powertrain with a power output of 457hp and torque of 600Nm. Thanks to it the coupe is able to reach a top speed of 250 km/h (electronically limited) and accelerate from 0 to 100km/h in 4.5 seconds.
The AMG engine is combined with a seven-speed MCT (multiclutch transmission), a development of Mercedes-Benz\'s 7G-tronic unit. This version adds a wet clutch in place of the torque converter, and a 2.85:1 final drive to the rear wheels.
Differences between the standard and AMG version of the C-Class Coupé include a deeper front bumper with larger air cooling ducts mounted on each side with LED running lights placed above the duct rather than through the middle.
