For the 2012 model year in Europe, Chevrolet added a new Aveo diesel. It uses a 1.3 liter, diesel engine that comes in two states of tune: either 75hp or 95hp, and it uses 3.6l/100km and 4.1l/100km respectively. The 95hp variant has lower emissions at 95g/km and the 75hp version emits 97g/km. Chevrolet also announced an Aveo powered by liquified petroleum gas (LPG) for the same year.
