In June 2010 Citroën revealed the first details of its new C4 generation that had its world premiere at the Paris Motor Show in September of the same year.
With 4.33m length, 1.79m width and 1.49m height, the second generation C4 is just 5cm longer, 2cm wider and 3cm taller than previous model. The 2010 C4 received aerodynamic enhancements, chrome detailing, dynamic headlight styling and sculpted alloy wheels.

This C4 is also equipped with a large boot with practical square dimensions and a lower sill to make loading easier.

Drivers can choose from a range of engines including Citroën’s micro-hybrid e-HDi powertrains, which feature a Stop & Start system that helps deliver CO2 emissions as low as 109g/km.
The 2010 C4 is fitted with Michelin Energy™ Saver tyres, conceived to lower emissions and to boost fuel economy. Citroën also uses 15% ‘green’ materials, for example, re-cycled polyamide components, to improve the car's environmental record.

The new C4 features a blind-spot monitoring system, a cornering light function, cruise control and speed-limiter with road speed memory settings, and a service called eTouch. The eTouch technology enables drivers to monitor their driving patterns and fuel consumption, and receive advice on how to improve their fuel economy. Besides offering on-board emergency assistance the system also allows drivers to check the vehicle’s technical status and monitor any necessary maintenance or servicing requirements.
