The British Daimler Motor Company produces vehicles since 1896, the year it was established in Coventry, England. Daimler was a subsidiary of the Jaguar car make for most of its years, sticking with it throughout its mergers and separations.
More recently, the British Daimler brand (and Jaguar) belonged to the American car group Ford, but it is now property of the Indian carmaker Tata Motors. Only one Daimler model exists currently on the market.
