Dax was founded in 1968 under its official name D.J. Sportcars. It started as a glassfibre moulding company, but it moved to bodyshell reproductions. It was the first British company to have a kit based on the AC 427 Cobra. Today, Dax has established itself has one of the leading kit car manufacturers in UK.
