The Diablo GT was a limited series of 80 units launched in 1999. This version was completely race-oriented and differed in almost every aspect from the more mainstream Diablos.

These versions were fitted with radically altered aggressive bodywork, a stripped-down interior, and an enlarged engine. The Diablo GT had a price tag of nearly $300,000 and was only available in Europe.

In terms of exterior the Diablo GT received an all new black carbon fiber front air dam with large brake ducts and a central vent for the oil cooler. A large air extractor was added in the front luggage compartment lid, while NACA style ducts were chosen to replace the small corner vents on the front fenders. In order to accommodate a wider front track the fenders had to be widened.

At the back of the Diablo GT the bumper and its lamps were completely removed in order to receive the replacing carbon fiber diffuser which forced the backup lamps into the out...
