Holden is an Australian carmaker, subsidiary of General Motors since 1931. Holden was founded in 1856 by James Holden, but it only entered in the automobile business in 1905, when Edward, James Holden's son, joined the company. Holden is a very popular car brand in its home country, claiming to be “Australia's Favourite Car”.
