Available exclusively as a five-door hatchback, Honda say that the new Civics ride and handling has been developed specifically for the European market by taking into account that European roads include a mix of fast highways and poorly surfaced country lanes. This has been achieved by increasing the wall thickness of the rear suspensions torsion bar, the diameter of the stabiliser bar and by adding new fluid-filled compliance bushings.
The new Civic will be available in four different trim levels and feature a six speed manual transmission as standard.
