Honda Civic (Japan, 1983-1987)

Honda launched the third incarnation of the Civic in 1984, which was a bigger and much more sophisticated car. The sedan version of the Civic rebadged for the European markets and sold under the names Honda Ballade and Rover 213/216.

The third generation Honda Civic had its assembly lines mounted at the company’s plants in Japan, Canada, South Africa, China and Taiwan. It was produced until being replaced for yet a new Civic model in 1987.
