Maserati released the first generation of the two-seater Ghibli at the 1966 Turin Motor Show. The coupé entered production the following year and a Spyder body variant was also released.

This car is characterized for its two fuel tanks, which together could carry up to 100 liters of fuel and each one had its flap on either side of the car. In 1973 Maserati stopped production of the Ghibli I and nearly 1300 cars were built.   more
