Mercury is a brand of cars founded in 1939, by Henry Ford’s son, Edsel Ford. The purpose of this brand was to market Ford’s luxury cars. In 1945, Mercury and Lincoln divisions were combined to make the Lincoln-Mercury. Later, in 1958, the Edsel brand joined this division. Mercury is present in the Central and Northem American continent, as well as in the Middle East. The range of models produced are all based on Ford’s platforms.
