MG MGB (United Kingdom, 1962-1980)

The MG B sports car came out in May 1962 and although it was originally meant to stay in production for about 5 years, it had such a tremendous sales success that it actually ended up living for 18 years, until October 1980.

Launched to replace the preceding – and aged – MG A model, the MG B ended up proving to be Britain’s best selling sports car. The MG B coupes and roadsters are said to have been conceived under MG’s search for the best combination between comfort and performance.
