Nissan Xterra (Japan, 2005-present)

Launched in 2000 in the North American market the Xterra is a compact SUV built by Japanese automaker Nissan. Based on Nissan's F-Alpha truck platform the Xterra is targeted at an adventurous consumer and is named after the XTERRA off-road triathlon race series, which was sponsored by Nissan until the end of 2006.
