OSCA, acronym for Officine Specializzate Costruzioni Automobili, was an Italian car manufacturer that produced sports automobiles from 1947 to 1967. When the contract that the Maserati brothers had with Adolfo Osi was completed, Ernesto, Ettore and Bindo left Maserati to create a new company, OSCA. The Maserati brothers’ goal was to create a race car to compete in the 1100 cc class. The MT4 was the first model released by OSCA 1948. In 1963, after building cars for Formula One and two, the brothers sold the company to Count Domenico Agusta, but they remained designing models up to 1966. The company was closed in the following year.
