The Hoggar X-Line is the range entry model and powered by a Flex 8V 1.4 (1,360 cc) engine, with an output of 82 hp when operating on alcohol and 80 hp on petrol.

In 2010 Peugeot presented the Hoggar, a compact pick-up developed in Brazil for the Brazilian market. This compact pick-up completes the Brazilian 207 family range, which already includes the hatchback versions, the SW, SW Escapade and the Passion notchback saloon.

In terms of designed the Hoggar features some of the aesthetic characteristic of the 207 family. In the front the pick-up has a large air intake that is crossed by an impact bar, with the headlights swerving along the wings.

At the back the Hoggar shows elaborately-shaped rear lights, with three elliptical lights placed inside a triangular red glass that continues round the side of the vehicle. The look of the Hoggar is enhanced thanks to rear bumper, which is surrounded by a part that is used to protect the lights and that can also help to gain access to the cab, using it as steps.

Inside the Hoggar the dashboard has been inspired by the world of motorbikes, with three circular dials that suggest precision instruments. The peripheral vision is enhanced by the cab’s side windows.

The Hoggar name is derived from a mountain chain in the Sahara desert in Africa.
