In May 2013 Renault announced the Megane Renault Sport Red Bull Racing RB8 that is inspired by Red Bull and Renault's win of the 2012 World Constructors' Championship.
The car comes in Crépuscule Blue, which is considered one of the official colors of Red Bull, and is only available on the RB8 with a Red Bull Racing decal on the rear. The special edition also gets Renault's R-Link infotainment system and R.S Monitor data logger standard.
The Megane RB8 gets platinum grey trim on the front splitter, door handles, mirrors and rear spoiler, and there is a laurel on the rear side windows to celebrate the 2012 championship.
The only mechanical upgrade is a standard Cup chassis, but the Megane RB8 also comes standard with a limited slip differential and a 265hp 2.0-liter turbocharged engine with stop/start. It uses 7.5l/100km and emits 174g/km of CO2.
Inside, the car gets aluminum sill guards, Red Bull Racing-branded floor mats, a Red Bull Racing logo on the headrests, Recaro seats covered in leather and fabric. It also gets the Bridgestone tires from the Megane Trophy on 19in black wheels with a gray pinstripe.
