In 2013, Renault added a new variant of the Twizy to its range called the Cargo that is meant for businesses looking for a way to move a small amount of goods short distances.
The Twizy Cargo replaces the rear seat with a cargo area able to hold 180 liters of goods weighing a maximum of 75kg. The cargo area is kept safe with a locking door.
The car is available as both the Twizy Cargo 45 Life and the Twizy Cargo Life. The 45 Life is limited to 45km/h with a 5hp electric motor and a 120km homologated range. The price including VAT is €8,080.
The Cargo Life has a 17hp electric motor with 100km of homologated range. It has a limited top speed of 80km/h. The price including VAT is €8,780.
There is also a €50 per month battery rental fee.
